I think who has the best deals on rental cars depends on what you are looking for. If you don''t care whether you have the latest model car, then renting a 2006 model in 2008 won''t bother you. But if you expect the car you rent to have that new car smell for you, you may just need to go high end, and thereby, high cost. Also especially these days, I think that the more fuel-efficient cars are going to be rented more often; I believe that 4.00 a gallon may just be a starting point for gas prices. Maybe we''ll be riding more bicycles and saving our car trips for important tasks!
