For a large family one of the best options is always a van with at least two rows of backseats. Another thing to keep in mind is the extra features. If you are traveling with small children you could try to find a vehicle that has built in DVD players or separate air conditioning or radio for the back seats. If you are traveling with more adults it might be more spacious to avoid such add-ons.
