Find out car information
There are many advantages and disadvantages to renting a car. One advantage would be that you would save miles on your current vehicle, which would increase the amount of time between maintenance and extend some warranties. Another advantage might be that you are able to save money on gasoline, if your car isn''t very fuel efficient. Another advantage is that you may be able to make a trip that you would not be able to make otherwise, for example you have an unreliable car or you traveled by plane to a new location and you have no other vehicle to use.
There are some disadvantages, though. The first is the cost of renting a vehicle. You will clearly spend more upfront renting a vehicle than using your own vehicle. Another disadvantage is that the costs may go higher if you get into an accident. If you bought the car rental insurance, or have your own insurance that covers everything (not just liability), you won''t have to pay much more. However, if you opted out and don''t have much insurance, you will be paying quite a bit of extra money. Another disadvantage is that it is time-consuming. You should book the rental well in advance as the rental place may not have vehicles available if you wait until the last minute. You also must make arrangements to get to and from the rental agency, you must make sure their hours fit into your schedule, and bring the car back on time.
