Is a luxury rental car really for you?

I can''t imagine renting a luxury car just for the sake of renting one. It might make sense if you need to impress a business client and you feel your car is not up to par. For myself, I would be more interested in getting a car that is practical and reliable and will get me from point a to point b. I think I would be too stressed driving a high-end car for fear I would get in an accident and the insurance would be higher. As long as the car is new and in good working condition that would be good enough for me.
